Das Rheingold (San Francisco Opera)

Vocally, this Rheingold has been cast without a weak link. In order of appearance, the three Rhinemaidens – Stacey Tappan (Woglinde), Lauren McNeese (Wellgunde) and Renée Tatum (Flosshilde) – blend well and carry cleanly over the orchestral waves. Tatum, in particular is blessed with a lovely, warm mezzo.
